What is CrossFit Providence?
CrossFit is a training method that combines 'cardio' with weightlifting and gymnastics. It is highly effective in improving overall health and fitness, very quickly. CrossFit Providence runs group classes and personal training. Our members are at all fitness levels, but notably CrossFit is used by tri-athletes, the Navy Seals, MMA fighters - all practitioners whose performance (and for some, their lives) depend on their fitness. Our idea of fitness is to be able to do whatever we want to do, at anytime. For a more complete description, click here.

How many times a week should I train?
The ideal schedule is 3 days on 1 day off, but you will still get huge benefits by at least getting in here 2-3 times per week. You will accomplish here in 3 days what you couldn't accomplish in a week at a "globogym".
