World Class Fitness in 100 words
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

To get a taste of our classes you can try a FREE introduction class that is scaled for all levels and offers a great introduction to the methods, tools and a taste of the intensity that are the foundations of CrossFit training, advance sign-up is required.  You may also skip intro and enroll directly in Foundations Class to get started, see below.

All new members are required to take our Foundation Classes in order, Monday first then Wednesday second (or by appointment), to learn to perform the nine major movements correctly.  Foundation Classes are an education in functional fitness training and you will gain the basic knowledge to perform CrossFit workouts here at CFP or at home.  You will learn how to scale movements to your ability and maybe discover some abilities you didn't even know you had!

We limit enrollment in these classes to ensure individual attention for each athlete. Both classes must be completed within two weeks. 

 

STEP 3:  Sign up for CrossFit Main Classes!

We offer classes everyday!  Please click here for a full class schedule.  Sign up for 2, 3 or unlimited classes per week or purchase a drop-in punch card!  We encourage all members to train up to 3 days in a row, with a 1-day rest period.  Ask a coach what is the right training schedule for you!  Email mike@crossfitprovidence.com with any questions.

CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement.  These workouts are scaled to meet you where you are physically, regardless of your experience or fitness level.  All CrossFit Training is 1 hour, thisincludes warm up, the workout, and a cool down.   

Class Fees:  15% discounts on all classes are available for students, military, police, fire, first responders, K-12 teachers and families.

  • 2 classes per week:  $90/month 
  • 3 classes per week:  $110/month 
  • Unlimited classes:  $125/month

All punch cards expire within 90 days.  Just bring a check to class and we'll take care of the rest. 


CrossFit Boot Camp Class

CrossFit Boot Camp is a 45-minute, intensive cardio, kettlebell and resistance training workout guarenteed to improve your fitness.  CrossFit Boot Camp is suitable for those who feel they are not "ready" for the CrossFit Main Class or are looking for more of an introduction to CrossFit.  This is a scaled-down version of our main class without the olympic lifting movements.  No prior CrossFit experience is required. 

CrossFit Boot Camp classes are designed to give you a total body workout based on the CrossFit training methodology.  You can expect running/walking, cardiovascular challenges, partner exercises, athletic drills, creative resistance training, relay races, bodyweight resistance and much more.  The workout includes a warm-up, work-out and cool-down.  The Boot Camp does not require completion of Foundations.  For those who wish to transfer to the Main Class, completion of only Foundations II will be required for only $50. 

 

CrossFit Personal Training

For those who would like individual training, our CrossFit coaches are available to train when it's convenient for you!  Click to see our list of coaches available.  Personal training is free for the first hour.  Pricing is available upon request.  Personal training does not require enrollment in the Foundation Classes.
