Darran Hazebrouck Darran wasn’t always into fitness. After getting his desk job in 2012, bad habits caught up and soon found himself overweight, unhealthy, and unhappy. After losing the weight, in 2015 he decided to try a crossfit intro class and fell in love. The camaraderie and support in the community is what keeps him coming back for more. When not in the gym, Darran enjoys being outdoors. He enjoys hiking, fishing, trail running and especially obstacle course racing. During summer if there is a race in town, chances are that’s where you’ll see him. Darran tests the Crossfit concept of being” prepared for the unknown and the unknowable” each and every race.

Lauren Bedard As a child, Lauren was definitely not a natural athlete. She was a chubby theater nerd who knew the score to Phantom of the Opera ad verbatim. But, after discovering Crossfit about 7 years ago, her life changed. She went from being barely able to complete a 5k to training with Navy Seals over the past two summers, coaching Olympic athletes for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and participating in fitness competitions and races both domestic and abroad. She feels immense gratitude towards the coaches and trainers that helped her champion her fears of discomfort and dig deep. It is this gratitude that fuels her vocation. And, she is honored to help any and all who come her to help unleash their inner superhero.
